My background

After a decade-long career in PR and Marketing for ethical lifestyle and wellness brands, my path took a more personal and purposeful turn. My travels across South America, including time spent with remote tribal communities, deepened my fascination with traditional plant medicine and its powerful role in healing — not just for people, but for animals too. Volunteering at local animal sanctuaries during these travels only strengthened that connection.

It was during the quiet of lockdown that I came across the work of Caroline Ingraham, a leading expert in Applied Zoopharmacognosy — the study of how animals instinctively self-select plant compounds to support their health. The concept made immediate sense to me: it bridged my personal passion for animal wellbeing with a practice grounded in biology, chemistry, and behavioural science. I began my training with Levels 1 and 2, eventually completing the full Diploma Course with distinction in November 2024.

My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that — when given the choice — animals have an innate ability to guide their own healing.

During my studies, I worked on a range of case studies involving animals with physical, emotional, and behavioural imbalances. Many of their guardians were new to zoopharmacognosy, and were often astonished by the changes they witnessed — sometimes within a single session.  These outcomes, while individual, reflect the growing body of evidence showing how animals can guide their own healing when given access to appropriate natural compounds. (See testimonials/case studies.)

In 2025, I founded Wild Wisdom to bring this work to more animals and their humans. I now offer in-person consultations in St Leonards-on-Sea and surrounding areas (within a 40-mile radius), as well as remote sessions. For online consultations, I send a carefully selected mini-kit of natural extracts ahead of time, based on a pre-session assessment of the animal’s needs.

My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that — when given the choice — animals have an innate ability to guide their own healing.
